Most young Spaniards and not so young cannot understand that laws are made to protect their pets and other living beings while others are subjected to torture and exhibition to death.
Recently laws have been enacted to protect animals from all forms of torture such as Law 7/2023, of March 28, for the protection of the rights and welfare of animals. Silencing the world of bulls, which are obviously animals like any other and are tortured to death for the enjoyment of a few and to enrich others.
This is bullfighting, the Spanish “fiesta” that is likely to be eradicated in the near future because of the human savagery it represents and in the face of the other countries of the European Union. The other member states see it as a delay typical of Roman times, when people and animals were executed for the amusement of other people in the Roman Coliseum.
Recently a Popular Initiative Law is gathering the 500,000 signatures needed for a popular initiative bill that seeks the eradication of this evil called art in its page Not my culture, in person in a number of locations such as the Vegan fair to be held in IFEVI this coming Saturday 26 and Sunday October 27 in Vigo.

The suppression of the National Bullfighting Award has already taken effect since this year in Spain.
