Where to eat

In Vigo, as in all the low rías in which it is situated, there is a great variety of fish and seafood of great quality. Not to forget the growing vegetarian cuisine such as the “Curcuma”, “Gálgala” or “Bambú” restaurant as well as some magnificent barbecues such as “Mirador do Cepudo” with great views.

Another restaurant withbeatiful views of the Vigo  is the “Coto del Aguila” situated on top of a mountain.

In Chapela,  there are several restaurants closed to the see as the restaurant “Praia de Arealonga”.

In the Domaio’s dock we find the restaurant “O’Caranguexo” with large windows. It also happens with the restaurant “Rocamar” in Baiona that combines good seafood with excellent sea views.

A separate mention deserves the “Furanchos“, which are private houses that offer their own products in  a tipical Galician house which gives it an unbeatable charm. As an example “Os Muiños” in Redondela, close to Vigo located in an authentic mill.

Some excellent pizzas can be found in “La Tagliatella Vigo” in the center of the city. In the “Pepita Burguer Bar” we will find some great hamburgers for the youngest.

The Michelin Guide 2025 recognizes the talent of a new restaurant located in Vigo. Located in the Palacio de la Oliva in the Old Town, it's under the direction of one of Galicia's most renowned chefs, Pepe Solla. The restaurant is located at 2 Rúa da Oliva.
It is a renovated country house that also houses a nightclub, lounges, and a terrace.
