Petisquiño 25

 Petisquiño the tapa competition that is gaining more and more public attention every year, is held in the  Casco Viejo  of Vigo.

This competition awards the most elaborate and delicious tapa. Each year, the bars and restaurants participating in the event present their best tapas or dishes, which are then evaluated by a specialized jury and, in some cases, by the public as well.

The awards are as follows:

Best Tapa 2025 Award: The winner receives a cash prize of €1,000 plus €500 for participation expenses, and the opportunity to represent the province of Pontevedra in the Official Spanish Tapas and Pinchos Championship.
Finalist Mentions : Given to the establishments that reach the final stage of the competition.
Most Popular Tapa : An award decided by public voting.
Best Pairing: A recognition for the tapa that best pairs with a specific drink (for example, wine or beer).
Best Tapa Made with Seafood: A special category that highlights the use of local seafood products.
Sweetest Tapa: Award for the sweetest or most indulgent tapa.
Cutest Tapa: Recognition for the most "adorable" or heartwarming tapa.

The competition is held between October 24 and November 9 this year, 2025.

The festival of San Blas is celebrated every February 3 in the parish of Bembrive, it is cataloged as a Festival of Tourist Interest in Galicia in 2019.

It is one of the most famous celebrations in the city. This parish has 137 hórreos and a parish church worth visiting that at 12:30 p.m. will celebrate the high mass sung by the San Roque Polyphonic Choir.

In this year 2022 it will have the particularity that music will be the main protagonist as there will be no furanchos or large stews or pig slaughters, although donuts and other souvenirs will be sold.

In this Bembribe parish, 6 concerts will be held with the relevant anticovid measures and a current covid certificate.

The performances will be from the Beade Bugle Band at 11:00 a.m., followed by the solemn mass, concert and procession. Started at 4:00 p.m. and 6:45 p.m. the Quinteto's Folk concert. At 5:30 p.m., Lume de cana Folk. Leaving Pelepau's performance for last, which will be at 8:00 p.m.

The party will be held with a covid certificate and limited tents in the Alameda do Torreiro.
