On April 26th and 27th the third edition of CINBIO, the scientific fair organized by the Center for Research in Nanomaterials and Biomedicine (CINBIO) of the University of Vigo, with the collaboration of the Spanish Foundation for Science and Technology (FECYT) - Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities will shine again at the Puerta del Sol.

More than 250 students of ESO, High School and Vocational Training will present their scientific projects from more than 32 centers competing for various prizes before a specialized jury and with a prize from the public who will be able to vote in an app after hearing the presentation of their projects in groups of four in the so-called “golden minutes”. In addition to offering their explanations to the public who come to their stands throughout the day.

Participation categories:

Early researchers for 1st and 2nd of ESO.

Young researchers for 3st and 4nd of ESO.

Teen researchers for1rd and 2th of high school and vocational training.

There will also be scientific workshops for students between 3 and 12 years building and investigating electricity by creating electrical circuits or making bracelets sensitive to ultraviolet light.

The festival will feature inclusive gymkhanas “CinVigo Holmes ”on Saturday morning adapted to people with functional diversity.

Cienceando: On Saturday afternoon and Sunday at noon there will be a humorous show offering scientific demonstrations with visual effects.
