¿Smoke or not smoke?...In Samil and Balaídos

The mayor of Vigo, Abel Caballero, plans to convert the Samil space into a smoke-free space, in addition to the Balaídos stadium, with a preliminary survey of the citizens.

As it already happens in more than 70 Spanish beaches where there is already the prohibition of smoking in its limits due to its high polluting power of cigarette butts, which are not biodegradable and that the filters of cigarette butts come in contact with water release The chemicals in them contaminate the water and damage the entire marine ecosystem. What inevitably happens despite there being places enabled to leave them.

Bayona was the first municipality in this practice. Now the mayor of Vigo: Abel Caballero for the satisfaction of all citizens, a survey is carried out to get to know the majority opinion of the citizenship and even though it is not binding the help to make the most appropriate decision and demanded by its citizens.
