This weekend will be held the gala of Distinguished Vigueses and the Gold Medal of the city. Ceremony that is usually held in March and given the current situation will be held this Saturday, October 3 at the Mar de Vigo Auditorium.

The winners are decided by vote of the groups of the Plenary of the Municipal Corporation of Vigo.

The winners are: Athlete Alejandro Gómez, the Asociación Solidariedade Galega co Pobo Saharaui, the jurist Julio Picatoste, the television presenter Carlota Corredera, the Iván Álvarez National Police, the Peña Trevinca Club and the National Police, Autonomous and Local Police forces as well like the Civil Guard. Together with ten educational centers that have been teaching in the city for more than 50 years.
