The two new elevators that will reign in Vigo have just begun to be built with the laying of the first stone by Mayor Abel Caballero. This work is invested with 12.6 million euros, of which six will come from European funds: It is expected to be a great example of sustainability by having 4 wind turbines that will be located inside the main tower.

Due to the complexity of the construction, the work will be divided into four phases in order to interrupt traffic as little as possible. It will join Serafín Avendaño streets at the height of García Barbón and Vía Norte.

The construction company Oreco Balgón will be in charge of bringing this project to a successful conclusion at the end of next year, 2023.

The final aesthetic will be eminently futuristic, finished in white tones and will have numerous lattices. Being only one of the paths of the same covered to respect the privacy of the adjacent houses, being a magnificent viewpoint of the estuary on the other side.
