The development of the Campus del Mar; which will transform the ETEA, the Institute of Marine Research (IMM) and the Marine Technological Unit (UTM) of the CSIC. Eight companies have submitted an offer for the demolition work of the old ETEA within three months.

Five buildings will be demolished: Hertz, Luis Jener, Ampere, the classroom building and the admiral's home.

Like the Churruca building, the Hertz building will retain parts such as the porch it shares with the Kelvin building attached to its west wall and the Luis Jenner building attached to its east wall. The Churruca building has protected the ashlar façades of

The so-called Ampere building will be demolished in its entirety. The Gauss Building containing the Marine tea association remains intact. As well as the Morse Building and the Infirmary.

Faraday Building and Siemens Building will go to entrepreneurship. This scientific complex will cover more than 15,000 square meters.
