Building collapse

Unfortunately, every city has a at some point due to cracks, falling walls, water seeping into the foundation of the building, etc.

_How did the Odriozola building located on García Barbón street in Vigo happen?

On March 2, 1999, the entire property collapsed due to the demolition that was carried out on the adjoining property with which it shared a wall.

In which a building with four floors and an attic completely collapsed, supposedly the wall that it shared with the neighboring building dragged it down while demolition works were being carried out on the other building, in the ground floor neighbor's warehouse.

However, neither civil nor civil was able to prove the guilt of the promoter declared in absentia for not attending the trial. The family of the deceased and some almost hundred-year-old neighbors were exonerated from paying the costs...

_ On February 11, 2021, an abandoned building located on República Argentina street has suffered a collapse, there is no personal damage but the next Coliseo gym has been affected.

_Today, June 14, 2023, the unfortunate residents of building number 5 on Serafín Avendaño street have been evicted since supposedly the works of a parking lot that is being built on the next lot have caused cracks and movements that predicted a fatal outcome. Firefighters and police go there to settle the walls as much as possible after the collapse of part of the cornice of the façade.

However, the most famous collapse did not occur in a building but in the port of Vigo itself in the Parque As Avenidas. During the O Marisquiño Festival in August 2018, some 400 people were injured after the platform they were on fell and fell into the water on top of each other. Subsequently, the Vigo City Council and the Port Authorities indicated that a structural failure occurred and was supposedly not due to maintenance problem

Guns-n-roses concert Vigo

The musical group Guns N' Roses was formed in the mid 80's. The original Guns N' Roses were Axl, Izzy, Tracii Guns replaced by Slash, Rob Gardner replaced by Steven Adler, and Ole Beich replaced by Duff.

This Monday, June 12, they will play in Vigo at the Balaidos stadium. As Teloneros he leads the group De Pretenders, other opening acts of his were Mark Lanegan and Tyler Bryant & the Shakedown.

Famous songs are Appetite for Destruction, one of the best-selling albums, Sweet Child O' Mine or Welcome To The Jungle.

Band Curisities:

When Steven Adler arrived to start playing with the rest of the band, he brought his double bass drums with him, however Daff and Izzy hid it from him when he went to the bathroom, adding that he didn't need it because they didn't like it, that was the beginning and the end. end of the double bass drum...

The 1990 MTV American Music Awards gala began with a completely drunk Slash, so he had to cut the presentation with music and logo, since then the gala has been broadcast a few minutes late, thus avoiding similar situations.

It is said that the name of the Simpson's beer comes from hearing that the band's bassist was called "Staff the king of beers". When the creators heard it, they asked Staff for permission to give the beer its definitive name and hence the Staff Beers. According to his own account in his memoirs.

The moans of the Rocket Queen song are said to be real and recorded by the band themselves on a night of partying and sex.
