Looking straight ahead and without heels! : 516 Arouca

The longest pedestrian suspension bridge in the world is located 175 meters above the Paiva River in northern Portugal. In the Arouca Geopark.

It measures 516 meters and its construction has been full of anecdotes; like carrying the first rope that united them from one end to the other.

Visitable from May 3, 2021. It cannot be crossed by pets or children under 6 years of age. It is recommended not to wear heels since the floor is formed by perforated metal planks.

Until now the longest suspension bridge was the Charles Bridge in Switzerland. That connects Grächen and Zermat with its 494 meters in length. Opened on July 29, 2017

After the success of the first edition of the Terraceo Festival, consisting of concerts held on the terrace of the Mar de Vigo Auditorium, this year it is once again celebrated in its second edition with concerts that increase as new ones are confirmed.

A different Easter

The incidence of covid is decreasing so new measures have been taken.
