The Sinsal SON Estrella Galicia 2019 Festival is celebrated on San Simón Island (Redondela, Pontevedra). This year will be Thursday 25 to Sunday 28 July. There will be a minimum of 4 different concerts Thursday and Friday, with at least 7 concerts being Saturday and Sunday respectively.

This Festival has won several awards such as the Festival of the Iberian Awards "Prize for organized cultural activities" as well as the "Prize for the best brand activation".

He had previously won the "Best Small Format Festival in Spain" award at the Fest Awards.

San Simón Island can only be accessed by boat from the port of Vigo or Meirande. It has a capacity limited to 800 people per day, with organized cultural activities. All this makes this island a unique location to enjoy its concerts despite its history. Well, San Simón Island had a very different and less festive destination in other times as a leprosarium or even as a prison.

About 40 minutes from Vigo (on the Camposancos road (PO-552) or on the Val Miñor highway (VG-20 / AG-57), you will find the Virgin of the rock. Built at first to serve as a guide to the boats.

Less than 1 kilometer from here we find the city of Bayona.

As well as the fortress of Monterreal reconverted in Parador and the Church of Santa María de Bayona of the XVIII century and an old town where you can taste the best seafood and fresh galician fish .

20 kilometers from Vigo along the provincial highway EP-2908, in the Verdugo River Valley, is the Castle of Soutomaior, in Rúa del Rial, s / n, 36691, Pontevedra.

This medieval castle of the 12th century is owned by the Soutomaior house until its sale, now belongs to the Pontevedra deputation. Its garden was declared a Garden of 

International Excellence by the International Society of Camellia in 2012 for its collection of cameras of up to 22 different species. It has a botanical garden with more than 175 different trees some 8 centuries old.

It is currently fully restored, has a cafeteria, parking, restaurant, wedding or conference room and hotel.

Nearby is the city of Pontevedra, about 15 km away, where you can visit its historic center, the Church of the Pilgrim  and the museum of Pontevedra.

The Vigo airport: Peinador will soon have a VIP area on the top floor with capacity for 50 travelers with catering service, work and relaxation areas with Wi-Fi, toilets and children's areas. It will occupy about 256 square meters.

Likewise, Peinador will soon have two children's play areas for travelers, both will have an aeronautical theme and will be educational. One will be located on the ground floor of 6 m2 and another in the upper area of ​​20 m2.
