Vigo will be full of activities to celebrate the Día das Letras Galegas 2025, dedicated to popular oral poetry and cantareiras.
Program
Lavadores Festival: Performances by the Choir “Lembranzas Galegas de Lavadores” and the “Pandeireteiros Traspés”. Friday 16 and Saturday 17 in the Association of Lavadores.
Poetic-musical show “Cantigaeverso”: Saturday 17 at 12:00 hours in the Porta do Sol.
Tribute to the Celtic harp by the Orquestra Folclórica de Galicia SonDeSeu: Saturday 17 at 20:30 h in the Afundación Theater.

Concentration of pandereteiras: Saturday 17 at 18:00 h in the Torreiro de Coia. The aim is to set a record of participation; it is only necessary to bring a pandeireta and the desire to enjoy.
On Friday 16 there will be a foliada in the Plaza Industria at 18:00 hours in charge of the association As da Industria.
X Edition of the Letter Galegas day in Bouzas: Saturday 17 at 12:30 pm in the Alameda de Bouzas, with performances by local groups.
Festival in Matamá: Saturday 17 at 19:00 h with cantareiras.
Marco Museum: Public recording of the podcast Efervesciencia about science and technology. From 12.00 to 13.45, directed by Manuel Vicente and organized by Asociación Cultural no Meio e Meio, prior registration at info@lumes.gal.
