While the patient load at Álvaro Cunqueiro Hospital is increasing, with more than 10,000 patients expected in 2025, around one thousand people have been called to take part in the SINCIGAL (RSV) clinical trial, which will study the risk of hospitalization associated with infection by this virus.

The trial will take place on January 17 and 18, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., on floor 0 of Álvaro Cunqueiro Hospital.
