Chritsmast Lights Off 2023

After several meetings and dialogues between merchants and neighbors.
Mayor Abel Caballero has decided that the lights will be turned off this Sunday the 15th at 8:00 p.m., although initially on Christmas the 8th out of respect for the energy reduction requested this year by the European Union.
This decision took time to become final because the merchants and hoteliers had agreed to other tourist and gastronomic events, for which they requested a postponement that was finally granted.

In addition, 23 Covid controllers will monitor compliance with safety regulations.
This year the Christmas tree has been moved from Puerta del Sol to Policarpo Sanz street due to the works that are being carried out for its pedestrianization and the Three Kings parade will take place in a single street.
