World bicycle day

Today, June 3, the world bicycle day is celebrated. Proclaimed by the UN since 2018. A means of transport that favors the lowest contamination rate, the strengthening of health and also avoids costs.

The earliest known sketch of a bicycle is from Leonardo Da Vinci from the 15th century.

Thomas Stevens was the first person to cycle around the world in the 18th century. Since then bicycle racing and accessories have multiplied.

In Vigo today cyclists have been called to pedal together to request more spaces for their free movement.

LIFE 2020 Announcement

This week we left phase I of the lack of confinement due to Covid19 with notable mobility changes from phase 2: among them free access to the beaches in a community mostly bathed by the sea. What is linked to children's freedom of time and high temperatures make its regulation necessary.

However, not everyone will go to the beach because many do not forget what logic reminds us, that sprouts are very possible.

Obviously the responsibility has to come from each end to the social distance, whether on beaches or terraces. Knowing that groups of up to 15 people are now allowed.

Each council will dictate access standards for its beaches, one of the most popular measures being the limit of beach capacity. Beaches like those of Cangas will have an exclusive car access system for residents or clients of hotels in the area by means of a card.

Others such as Samil or el Vao will be parceled with colored ribbons limiting their capacity and establishing social distance, but this will be from June 15, despite having opened since Monday, May 26.

Bayona has also opted for a capacity control system through the parcelization of beaches such as A Ribeira. Without kiosks or beach bars.

On the beaches of Riazor, Oza and San Amaro in A Coruña, in addition to the minimum distance of two meters, the entrances and exits of the beach will be adapted to enter and exit without crossing. With police surveillance to observe compliance.

In Lugo the beach of the cathedrals has limited capacity and you have to book an appointment to visit it. This idea of prior reservation for the use of the beaches is being considered by the Xunta that could limit access to them through an app in which you would have to register to visit them: Praias Seguras de Galicia that would provide a QR code that would allow the access to the beaches.

Samil and the Lagares promenade have been closed on bicycles so that pedestrians enjoy their rides more comfortably and maintain a safety distance of two meters between them.

Runners or cyclists have increased due to this confinement and the sum of those who habitually practice the sport have joined others logically determined to take care of their health.

In the same way, the details for the distribution of masks to the citizens of Vigo, some of them with the symbols of the Olympic team: the Royal Celtic Club in this phase I to better safeguard the safety and health of all citizens.

Demand for vitamin C has increased since the start of the pandemic. Obviously not to prevent the Covid 19 infection, as this would be the case, no vaccine would be required. However, many doctors recommend taking this micronutrient each year to improve the immune system's defenses. Yes, a person is infected with complaint, covid19 ... it is possible that they have milder symptoms. And waiting for saber because some people have been taken to the grave by this disease and others have remained asymptomatic, many have chosen to strengthen themselves internally. Medical researchers such as: Hemilá H corroborate it. This micronutrient is found in oranges, grapefruits, broccoli, strawberries, melons and tomatoes. Also warning that people with kidney disease should not take vitamin C supplements.

To this, the intake of vitamin D has also been added because, due to the lack of light in the confinement, its levels have decreased in the body, it is found in tuna, mackerel, salmon, milk, eggs and butter. Researchers from researchers at Queen Mary University of London say so.

Other doctors also recommend the consumption of zinc because it improves the functioning of the immune system and helps to regenerate the skin and scars. It is found in red meat, fish, and some shellfish.
